The Nova Scotia Leviathan topped the Hollywood Shredders by the score of 8-7, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Juan Neváres. Neváres went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Leviathan on the day. The save was credited to Tom DeHart, his 24th. Nova Scotia now sits in second place in the Silver League at 43-29.

Nova Scotia used a well-timed hit by Richard Trevithick to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Leviathan ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
