Dirty Reds Lose to Bullets, 5-2
|
The Baltimore Bullets stopped the San Mateo Dirty Reds, 5-2, at Baltimore Grounds. The Bullets got a big game from Bang Aang, who was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The 9th-place Bullets are 29-41.
Aang contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Baltimore in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Aang took a fastball from Sylvain Richard and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Bullets to leap in front, 5-2.
"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said Bullets manager Brandon Slouck.
