Boston Takes 2-1 Lead in ToC First Round
|
Despite a great performance by Nova Scotia starter Kent Good, the Boston Patriots defeated the Leviathan by the score of 3-2 at The Dungeon in Halifax today. Good threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball, but he couldn't prevent the Patriots from moving one game closer to the ToC Semi-Finals. Boston now leads the ToC First Round 2-1.
Sadiya Seth, the 28-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Seth contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Boston up, 3-2.
"I got everyone together and told them they did great today," Boston manager Tyler Carter told BNN reporters after the game. "But I warned them that even if we make it out of the ToC First Round, it's only going to get harder."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Dungeon in Halifax in Halifax.
