McLean, Hawks Sink Gallos Again in Game 2
Riding the 3-hit performance of right fielder George McLean, the Laredo Hawks got a road win against the Delmarva Gallos, 9-6, in Game 2 of the SL A Championship today. McLean went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Hawks, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.

Laredo relied on the hitting of Ricardo Hernández to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Hawks on top, 5-0. For the game, Hernández had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We'll savor this win," McLean told the Laredo Daily News, "then get ready for the next game."
