Rachinsky Blasts Sea Dogs, Puffer Fish Take Game 2, 17-5
Plattsburgh right fielder Errol Rachinsky was the difference-maker for the Puffer Fish in what turned into a shootout with the Maine Sea Dogs. Rachinsky earned accolades after going 4-for-5 in the 17-5 Puffer Fish win. With the victory, the Puffer Fish moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Frank Corbett dealt the Sea Dogs a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Plattsburgh leading 1-0, Corbett hit a 1-1 fastball for a bases-clearing double.

"We'll savor this win," Corbett told the Plattsburgh News, "then get ready for the next game."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, September 11th , 2045 at Sea Dogs Park in Bangor.
