Late Magic Gets Moose Jaw 4-2 Win
|
Roland Matthews was a major factor in the 4-2 Moose Jaw win over Twinsburg. The Canucks left fielder was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. The second-place Canucks have a record of 49-32.
Moose Jaw used the timely hitting of Alberto Ramos to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Canucks on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ramos. "And not try to do too much."
