Tigers Squelch Fire Offense in Shutout Win
|
Twinsburg picked up a win at Dodge Field, toppling the Franklin Fire, 5-0. Pitcher John Palmer was one of the reasons the Tigers triumphed. Twinsburg has 3 straight wins, Franklin 3 straight losses.
The Tigers got an important contribution from second baseman Pyeong-ho Sim, who in the bottom of the third knocked a first pitch sinker into left for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 5-0.
"Feels good to get the job done," Palmer said after the game.
