Dirty Reds Take Down Stingers, 9-8
The San Mateo Dirty Reds beat the Toledo Stingers, 9-8, at Lang Park. The win was due in part to third baseman Kawenaula Alohalani, who went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The first-place Dirty Reds have a one-game lead in their division.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Alohalani hit a cutter from Josh Gentry for a solo home run. The Dirty Reds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Alohalani said.
