Águila Slugs Leviathan to 4-2 Win
The Nova Scotia Leviathan downed the D.C. Divided, 4-2, at Washington Stadium. Ricardo Águila led the way, going 3-for-4 for Nova Scotia. Picking up the win was Ken Grant. He went 7.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 7 and walked 1. Tom DeHart was credited with the save for Nova Scotia, his 14th of the season.

Águila had a timely hit for Nova Scotia in the top of the seventh. With D.C. trailing 2-1, he turned a 0-2 curveball into a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Nova Scotia.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Águila.

At 30-19, the Leviathan find themselves in second place in the Silver League.
