The Moose Jaw Canucks overcame a good performance by Ellesmere Island second baseman Chris Norman to knock off Ellesmere Island, 10-7, at Foresters Stadium. Norman was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Canucks, now 37-21, have won 4 in a row.

Edgar Tamayo dealt the Snowpeople a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Moose Jaw trailing 1-0, Tamayo, who is tied for 7th in the 3R in RBI with 32, hit a first pitch slider for a 2-run single.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Canucks manager Bobby Davis, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
