The Baltimore Bullets defeated the Colorado Billy Goats, 5-4, at Grazing Hills today. Leading the charge for Baltimore was first baseman Tetsu Matsumoto. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Ron Rouse. Baltimore bumps their record to 19-28 with the win.
Baltimore used the timely hitting of Kameron Guangorena to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bullets on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Colorado manager Mack Kilkeary.
