Streaking Baby Lakers Win Another One, 4-0
|
Bompton Baby Lakers starter Jorge Castro hurled his team past the Franklin Fire, 4-0. The winning pitcher was Castro, now 4-0. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 8. The winning streak has now reached 13 games for Bompton.
Gustavo Satiro drove in one run for Bompton. The 18-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Quentin Gamble. It was his 6th RBI of the season.
"We feel like we're going to win every game right now," said Bompton skipper Pat Carrasco.
