Baby Blues Pull Even With 7-2 Victory
Quebec City pitcher Kevin Ashe did his part in helping his team beat the Maine Sea Dogs, 7-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The winning pitcher was Ashe, now 8-3. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 8. Quebec City, at 43-43, holds down 7th place in the Silver R.

Quebec City used the timely hitting of Ragnar Nasman to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ashe told the Quebec City Daily.
