Kingston Township's Lima Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
|
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Kingston Township's Ánibal Lima made it happen today against the Leviathan. Everything came together at the plate for the 25-year-old left fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Knights to a 8-6 win at The Dungeon in Halifax.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Lima said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Ánibal Lima hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
Lima on the season is hitting .299 with 8 home runs. His stats include 24 RBIs and 32 runs scored.
