Twinsburg and Flint duked it out and the Tigers came out victorious.
The 8-5 Twinsburg win over Flint was due largely to Keith Thomas. The Tigers center fielder was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The winning pitcher was Ricardo Ramírez. He's now 2-4. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 9 hits for the Tigers.
The Tigers got a lift from catcher Ronnie Teague, who in the bottom of the third hit a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season put the Tigers on top, 3-1.
Teague told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
With the win over Flint, the Tigers improved to 24-21.
