Hargrove Slugs Puffer Fish to 8-4 Win
Plattsburgh Park was the site for USSL Rookie action featuring the Greenport Harbor Whales and Plattsburgh Puffer Fish.

The performance of Bob Hargrove proved critical in helping Plattsburgh beat Greenport, 8-4. The Puffer Fish shortstop went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Shuji Ando earned the save for Plattsburgh, his 6th.

Plattsburgh took a 8-3 lead on Hargrove's 19th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Grady Booth in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Plattsburgh to the win.

"We'll savor this win," Hargrove told the Plattsburgh News, "then get ready for the next game."

Plattsburgh is now 47-27, 2 games up in the Silver R.
