Hounds Win at Franklin, 3-1
|
Hicksville starter Hiang-ta Anderson put a stranglehold on the Franklin offense. The left-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Hounds to a 3-1 win. Katsuhito Goto got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. The victory makes Hicksville 9-20.
Hicksville used the timely hitting of Nick Moran to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hounds on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Anderson told a Hicksville Observer reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
