Baby Blues Pull Even With 4-1 Victory
|
Arturo Collazo was a major contributor to the 4-1 Quebec City win over Northwest Territory. The Baby Blues center fielder was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Kelsey Conrad closed the game out for Quebec City, earning his 21st save. With the win, Quebec City pushed its record to 36-36.
Quebec City used a well-timed hit by Terry Valdéz to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We take it day by day here," said Valdéz, "and today was a good one for us."
