Plattsburgh Gets 4-1 Win
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish beat the Capital Hill Interns, 4-1, at Alouettes Ballpark. Starting pitcher Albert Surtees was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Surtees, the winner, moves to 4-6. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 5 walks. With the victory, the Puffer Fish upped their record to 45-26.

Had Chae-pong Yi not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Yi hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Puffer Fish.

"It was a solid team effort," Surtees said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
