Plattsburgh Puffer Fish starter Michael Galloway was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Canonniers de Quebec, 5-2. Plattsburgh improves to 43-26 with the win. They lead their division by 2½ games.
Plattsburgh grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Romain Picot delivered a 2-run single, to make it 4-2 in favor of the Puffer Fish.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Galloway said after the game.
