Puffer Fish Get Past Beaumont for 4-3 Win
The Beaumont Crossbeaus got a superb performance from pitcher Luis Barrios. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Plattsburgh. The Puffer Fish won the game, 4-3. Barrios threw 8.0 innings allowing 4 runs. Plattsburgh reliever Alan Gilbert picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Luis Barrios took the loss. Dave Davis locked down his 10th save.

Plattsburgh used the clutch hitting of Charles Gamble to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Puffer Fish the lead, 4-3. For the game, Gamble had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Plattsburgh manager John Sirica.

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Puffer Fish.
