The Bompton Baby Lakers picked up a win at Dodge Field, knocking off the Twinsburg Tigers, 3-0. Starting pitcher Gijsbert van den Hombergh was a big reason why. Javier Rúbio picked up the save, his 5th. The win puts Bompton at 11-8.

In the top of the first, Mitch Ivey hit a run-scoring double. The 3rd double of the season for the Bompton catcher put the Baby Lakers on top, 1-0.

"We take it day by day here," said van den Hombergh, "and today was a good one for us."
