Pitcher Isaac Gunner was sensational for the Nova Scotia Leviathan in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Toledo Stingers. Gunner picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Gunner went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 3-1. Nova Scotia is now 25-16, while Toledo is 22-19.

Nova Scotia used a well-timed hit by Tom Smythe to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Leviathan ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Smythe.
