The Franklin Fire knocked off the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 8-4, at The Igloo. Hsiao-lou Rui was a big reason Franklin won. The left fielder was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Milo Coslovich, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held Ellesmere Island to 4 runs on 6 hits over 6.2 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. Gonzalo Barajas finished the game for Franklin and earned his 1st save.
