Baby Blues Earn 6-2 Win Versus Greenport
|
Quebec City pitcher Roy Garfield did his part in helping his team beat the Greenport Harbor Whales, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Garfield, now 3-3, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Robert Joubert finished to wrap up his 1st save.
José Cruz chipped in for Quebec City with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
