Crush Upend Trash Pandas, 3-2

Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Watford City Trash Pandas home opener. Elias Visscher started for the home team against Paul Allen for the Flint Crush. The Trash Pandas were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 3-2, Flint. Pakomio Alepeleke, though, was impressive. Ray Wright earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. James Spencer got credit for the save for Flint. It was his 1st of the year.
Visa Koskenkorva, the 19-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Koskenkorva contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Flint up, 2-0.
"I still think this team can play even better," Koskenkorva told the Flint Citizen.
