4-3 Rhinos Win over Crossbeaus Evens Season Record
|
Walt Gould pitched well, but the Beaumont Crossbeaus still lost the game, falling 4-3 to the Redwood Rhinos at The Target. Tetsuyuki Ando nailed down his 12th save. The Rhinos now have a record of 20-20 with the win over Beaumont.
Redwood used a timely hit from Ron Brown to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rhinos ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Beaumont manager Steve Ferguson. "The effort was great."
