The Greenport Harbor Whales faced a tough opponent in Plattsburgh pitcher Michael Galloway, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Robbins by a final score of 6-5. Galloway went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. Greenport reliever Grady Booth picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dave Davis was saddled with the loss. The Harbor Whales sport a record of 16-24.

The Harbor Whales procured the win, in large part because of catcher Joaquim Estao. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We'll build on this win," said Estao.
