Baring goes 3-for-4 in Interns Win
The Capital Hill Interns topped the Quebec City Baby Blues, 9-5, with left fielder Mo Baring playing a big role. Baring went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Interns in the win. Don Lucas earned the save for Capital Hill, his 1st. The Interns now own a record of 18-19.

The Baby Blues had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Interns going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old center fielder Francisco Reyes came to the plate. Reyes hit a run-scoring double on a 1-0 fastball from Quebec City hurler Robinson Ríos. It was Reyes's 4th double of the year.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Reyes said. "We did a good job of that today."
