Puffer Fish Upend Interns, 5-3
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish topped the Capital Hill Interns, 5-3, in USSL Rookie action at Alouettes Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Plattsburgh pitcher Tyrone Tolbert. Tolbert, now 2-2, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. The Puffer Fish bumped their record to 18-15 with this win.

Plattsburgh used the bat of Thatcher Lambert to get the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Puffer Fish ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.

Lambert called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
