Grazing Hills was the site for United States Silver League action featuring the Colorado Billy Goats and Toledo Stingers.

With right fielder Lester Threlfall leading the charge, the Toledo Stingers defeated the Colorado Billy Goats, 6-3, at Grazing Hills. Threlfall, who is tied for 2nd in the SL in doubles with 14, went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The winning pitcher was Bailey Borrett. His record is now 4-3. The right-hander went 7.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 11 hits for the Stingers. Mike Tate earned save number 10 this season.

Toledo relied on the hitting of Chris P. Bacon to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Stingers on top, 5-2. For the game, Bacon had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Threlfall expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
