Divided Pull Even With 5-1 Victory
|
The D.C. Divided beat the Baltimore Bullets, 5-1, at Washington Stadium. Starting pitcher Gani Palu-ay was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. With the victory, the Divided upped their record to 18-18.
The Divided got a big at-bat from first baseman Asko Huhtamo, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a run-scoring double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Divided on top, 1-0.
"It was a good effort all around," said Palu-ay.
