Memphis rode a good effort from starter Pino Bragaghio to beat the Beaumont Crossbeaus at The Target. The final score was 4-2. The winner was Jeff Filareta in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Roberto Vázquez took the loss. Pedro Cruz was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

Memphis needed the clutch hitting of Roberto Alcoholado to notch the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Music on top, 4-2. For the game, Alcoholado had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Alcoholado.

Memphis is now 13-13, while Beaumont is 15-11.
