Puffer Fish fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

In the 5-3 Plattsburgh win over Beaumont, the impact of Stone Wright was substantial. Wright, who is tied for 8th in the SR in bases on balls with 12, hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Dave Davis, now 1-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 0 and walking 0.

The Puffer Fish got a clutch hit from third baseman Stone Wright. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a 2-run home run to win the game for the Puffer Fish.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Wright told the Plattsburgh News.

With the win, Plattsburgh has a record of 14-10. Beaumont falls to 14-10.
