Crossbeaus Sneak By Interns, 3-2

The Beaumont Crossbeaus topped the Capital Hill Interns, 3-2, in USSL Rookie action at The Target. The game was highlighted by the performance of Beaumont pitcher Ira Bischoff. Beaumont reliever Alberto Ramos picked up the win to move to 1-0. Robert Norton suffered the loss. The triumph puts Beaumont at 12-8 for the season.
The Crossbeaus relied on designated hitter Reynaldo Juárez for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the ninth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Juárez said.
