Getting a good performance from second baseman Bob Hargrove, the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the Greenport Harbor Whales, 11-3. Hargrove was 2-2 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Puffer Fish. Plattsburgh, now 11-7, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Hargrove had a key at-bat for Plattsburgh early in the game. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and gave Plattsburgh an early 2-0 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Hargrove. "And not try to do too much."
