Greenport Harbor Whales starter Kensaku Sanu turned in a top-notch performance against the Memphis Music at The Stage in Memphis. The result was a win for the Harbor Whales, 4-2. Sanu went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 2-1. The loss drops the Music to 6-6.

The Harbor Whales got a big at-bat from left fielder Radomir Studer, who in the top of the fourth hit a run-scoring double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Harbor Whales on top, 2-0.

Studer called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
