The Capital Hill Interns got a superb performance from pitcher Brian Campbell, but the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish still won the game, 7-3. Campbell threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. The winner in relief was Patrick Saunders. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Capital Hill falls to 6-5.

Luis Enríquez chipped in for Plattsburgh, stroking a crucial bases-clearing double in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the left fielder went 1-5 with a double. He drove in 3 runs.
