Beavers Sink Crossbeaus, 4-2

The Northwest Territory Beavers picked up a win at Beaver Town, knocking off the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 4-2. Starting pitcher Richard McAfee was a big reason why. McAfee went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 10 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-1. The save went to Nelson Carrasco, number 2 for him.
Al Stabb dealt the Crossbeaus a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with the bases loaded and Northwest Territory leading 1-0, Stabb hit a 1-0 fastball for a 2-run single.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said McAfee.
The loss puts Beaumont at 6-4.
