Centennial Walk It Off for 49th Win of Season
|
The Fort Knox Centennial had to overcome a good performance from Germantown pitcher Wing-fung Quan to claim a 2-1 win at Ballpark of Baxter. Quan went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Fort Knox goes to 49-27. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.
The Centennial procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Esteban Mogollón. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
"We'd like to put some distance between ourselves and the rest of the division," said Mogollón.
