Plattsburgh and Memphis duked it out and the Puffer Fish came out victorious.

Errol Rachinsky was a major contributor to the 5-2 Plattsburgh win over Memphis. The Puffer Fish right fielder was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Plattsburgh starter Jeff Morehead was credited with the win after throwing 101 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. José Marquis was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.

Early in the game, Rachinsky had a 2-run home run for Plattsburgh. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Puffer Fish on top, 2-0.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Rachinsky told the Plattsburgh News.

Memphis drops to 4-4.
