Angel Kitties Earn 4-3 Win Versus Uruguayans
|
The Bethlehem Angel Kitties took Germantown pitcher Howard Randolph's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque. The final score had Bethlehem getting past the Uruguayans, 4-3. Randolph went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 7. The winner in relief was Nolan Robert. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. He now owns a record of 3-1. At 30-40, the Angel Kitties find themselves in 7th place in the Premier R.
Bethlehem needed the clutch hitting of Noburo Iwasaki to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Angel Kitties on top, 4-3. For the game, Iwasaki had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
