Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Bullets
The performance of Leonid Machehin proved critical in helping Baltimore beat Nova Scotia, 6-4. The Bullets left fielder was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Baltimore reliever Da'wan Gaines picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Liam Bane took the loss. The Bullets sport a record of 11-19.

Baltimore used a clutch hit from Vicente Gomillion to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bullets ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Gomillion told the Baltimore Daily News.
