Esteban Burr had a good game, but he could not keep the Long Island Ducks from falling, 6-5, to the Bethlehem Angel Kitties at Ducks Park. The Long Island left fielder was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once in the loss. Gil McCarthy recorded the save, his 1st. The Angel Kitties improve their record to 27-34 with the win over Long Island.

Bethlehem used the clutch hitting of Ming-an Szema to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Angel Kitties ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Szema told the Bethlehem Today.
