6-3 Loss Deepens Myrtle Beach Funk

Rocky Mountain and Myrtle Beach duked it out and the Vibes came out victorious.
Rocky Mountain Vibes starter John Wallace was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 6-3. Emílio González was credited with the save for Rocky Mountain, his 10th of the season.
Al Ruíz was a prime factor in the win for the Vibes. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the 23-year old center fielder hit a run-scoring single. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs.
In postgame comments to the Rocky Mountain Daily News, Wallace said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
The 5th-place Vibes have won 5 straight.
