The Kingston Township Knights and Nova Scotia Leviathan were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

DeMarvion Overshown had a good game, but he could not keep the Kingston Township Knights from falling, 9-5, to the Nova Scotia Leviathan at Cloverdale Legion Park. The Kingston Township designated hitter was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 in the loss. Picking up the win was Kent Good. He went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits. The right--hander struck out 2 and walked 1.

Nova Scotia needed the clutch hitting of Tom Smythe to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Leviathan on top, 9-5. For the game, Smythe had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a solid team effort," said Smythe after the game.

With the win, Nova Scotia raised its record to 16-10.
