Tulsa Gets 8-0 Win
|
The Tulsa Otters picked up a win at Ballpark of Henderson, knocking off the Amarillo Warheads, 8-0. Starting pitcher Dave Martin played a key role in the triumph. Tulsa, at 17-10, sits in second place in the Premier R.
Tulsa used the bat of Ed Hicks to get the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Otters ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"Dave was Dave," said Otters manager Luis Díaz. "He gave it all he's got."
