The home crowd had a good time watching the Hudsonville Flanderses and Tulsa Otters get after it.
The Tulsa Otters topped the Hudsonville Flanderses by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Kane Blackwood. Blackwood went 1-2 with 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Otters on the day. Tulsa, now 6-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.
In the top of the seventh, Dave Alexander stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Flanderses were trailing 6-3, but had the bases loaded. That's when Alejandro Garza made a terrific pitch and Alexander struck out. Gone was the dream of a Hudsonville comeback.
