8-6 Loss Extends Kingston Township Skid
|
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Juan Romero, the Kingston Township Knights lost to the Baltimore Bullets, 8-6. Romero was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Ron Rouse earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record is now 3-0. Georges Cormier locked down his 1st save.
Chipping in for Baltimore was shortstop Gabriel Luzuriaga. He stroked a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Luzuriaga was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2.
"We're in a funk right now," said Kingston Township skipper Rayzor Ray.
