Warheads Outmuscle Germantown, 14-10
|
The Germantown Uruguayans got a superb performance from right fielder Ta-hye Keng, but the Amarillo Warheads still won the game, 14-10. Keng was 3-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The win was credited to Carl Middlemiss in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Todd Johnson took the loss. The win gives Amarillo a record of 1-1.
Kauto Jarvi contributed to the Amarillo win with a run-scoring single in the top of the third. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 6 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 3 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
